Job Description:

Next Africa is currently seeking a Business Development Executive(Accra office) who will be responsible for prospecting, marketing, calling, meeting clients, demonstrating, driving sales and acquiring clients for its innovative school management software called Krakye. You will be expected to take Krakye into market penetration in Ghana. NextAfrica is a startup software development company based in Accra, Ghana that is transforming the way educational institutions manage and control their daily operations. The software includes such functions as accounting, attendance, payments, human resources, data analytics and reporting.


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Growing revenue via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing enterprise client accounts
  • Providing a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
  • Conducting one-on-one and group sales presentations
  • Calling to establish new opportunities
  • Tracking customer information, forecasts and reports
  • Planning & Strategizing marketing activities with the Marketing and Channel teams for the end users and channels
  • Onboard all clients


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have experience selling On-Demand, SaaS (Software as a Service) solution or subscription based product to a diverse customer base
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of sales experience focused on growing existing business or new business
  • Proven track record for closing sales
  • Ability to adapt, overcome objections, and learn complex solutions
  • Strong time management skills
  • Create new business opportunities through in-depth conversations and relationship building
  • Proven track record of growing business from an established client base
  • Consistent and documented track record for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual target metrics
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines

  • Very competitive and attractive basic salary
  • Earn 20% on each deal closed
  • Option pool available subject to number of years served and board approval
